Tai Ji Chi Kung
- Poetry In Motion
What is it?
Chi
or Qi pronounced - chee - is the fluid life giving energy
of the universe.
It naturally flows through us and around us, constantly available,
giving us
health and vitality. Go to any park in China at dawn and you
will see a
host of individuals cultivating Qi energy in the slow hypnotic
dances of
Tai Chi & Qi gong.

How Can Tai Chi help me?
Thousands
of years of practice in China have proven that our health
is directly related to the
circulation of the Qi energy in our bodies. This vital flow
can be blocked or interrupted
by physical, emotional, or mental stress, causing obvious
physical health problems and
subtle emotional changes.
Lydia
Wong teaches easy to do Tai Chi exercises designed to promote
a relaxed body and a peaceful state of mind.
You will discover unique ways to increase vitality, release
tension and move with a more balanced and effortless grace.
What Are The Benefits?
Why
do 180 MILLION people worldwide practice Tai Chi & Chi
Kung every day? It is because those who do
practice every day have a longer, more active life than those
who don't, and their health potential increases
dramatically. Unlike most forms of sports and exercise, Lydia's
Tai Chi workout is ideal for people of all ages
as it does not rely on strength, speed or force. It is also
excellent if you are recovering from illness or injury
or have not exercised for a while.

My first experience of yoga, tai chi
type of exercise. You inspire me to continue to try to do
as much
as I can on my very stiff body. Thank you for suggesting alternative
positions so that I could do each exercise.
Good for mind, spirit and body. Muchas Gracias.

I've
long been subject to problems with my balance that are the
result of an inner ear disorder.
I've practiced yoga for years and, although I've received
many benefits from my practice,
it hasn't done much to relieve my balance difficulties.
I'm amazed that after only two lessons of tai chi I can stand
steadily on one leg, then on the other,
then do it again. I'm delighted with my new sense of stability.
